Minor schools of magic are those schools of magic which are less common. Why these schools are so much less common can be difficult to answer, though often the practitioners of lesser schools seem to have significantly less power and renown than those of major schools. This may be a situation where "lesser" schools simply haven't been as thoroughly explored and developed as the "greater" schools.

The recognized minor schools of magic are Herbalism, Ritual Dance, Ritual Song, Science, Thaumaturgy.
