|Specialized focus by some practitioners of magic|
|This specialization focuses on creation of images.|
Illusion is the use of magic to create the appearance of something that does not actually exist. The means varies from school to school ranging from wizardry, which generally produces images which are seen, to witchcraft, which can more easily convince the subject they see something which isn't actually present. Sometimes the line at which something is an illusion can be blurred, such as with Lugwiler's Haunting Phantasm, which may or may not create allow the subject to see another reality or may simply create an image the subject sees, and spriggans, which are in many ways simply "images" given substance.
