Herbalism is a form of magic sometimes described as "power from plants." Herbalists use plants as medicines, poisons, and so on. Some individuals claim that herbalism is not actually a type of magic and instead is simply knowledge regarding the proper storing, preparation, and use of plants. This is a particularly popular argument from witches who study herbalism as a sideline to their central practice, though herbalists will argue vehemently against this supposition.

Herbalists generally wear green, or brown in winter.^[1]
